6. Peace Osaka Museum
Peace Osaka, also known as Osaka International Peace Center, is a museum
that dedicated to the documentation of the horrors of World War II.

The permanent exhibition room on the first floor shows photographs and
other documents related to the war, including exhibits focusing on the
horror and pain caused by Japan's aggressions in China, Korea and South
East Asia. It also documents the US invasion of Okinawa and the atomic
bombings.
The second floor displays documents and pictures of the Osaka Air Raids
that destroyed much of the city and killed many of its inhabitants in
the end of World War II.

Sumiyoshi Taisha
Founded in the 3rd century before the influence of Buddhist architecture
from the Asian mainland took root in Japan, the Sumiyoshi Taisha is one
of Japan’s oldest and purely Japanese styled shrines (sumiyoshi-zukuri).
Osaka's Sumiyoshi Taisha is the most famous of over two thousand
Sumiyoshi shrines in Japan. Enshrining kami (Shinto gods) believed to
protect travelers, fishermen, and sailors on the sea, Sumiyoshi shrines
are usually found constructed to harbors and seaports.

Dotombori
The heart of Osaka nightlife, this area is filled with theaters,
restaurants, cafes, bars, arcades and nightclubs.

9. Tenno-ji
The oldest temple in Japan, built over 1,400 years ago, this temple is
famous for its symmetrical design. Its design has become so famous that
there even is an architectural arrangement named after it: the
”Shitenno-ji-style temple layout.”

Joypolis Theme Park
Created by Sega, this theme park features eight high-tech rides that are
all very entertaining and original. Admission is JPY200 for adults and
JPY100 for children under 14. If you ride the Ferris wheel on the roof
of the building, admission is free. After the admission fee, each ride
costs JPY500 or JPY600, though there are cheaper combo passes. A pass
for all rides is JPY2,200 and a pass for three rides is JPY1,400. These
prices include the entrance fee. The rides range from simulators that
jolt you around to special-effects movies that interact with the
participants. For the less adventurous, there are also many arcade games
throughout the place to choose from.

Universal studios Japan
Promising to rival Tokyo’s Disneyland as the top family theme park in
Japan, the Universal Studios Park in Osaka is the third member of the
United States based Universal Studios and the first one opened outside
the States. Visitors to the Park could take in the live action shows or
go on the amusement park rides inspired by some of the US based Studio’s
most popular films like Jaws, Back to the Future, and Terminator.
